Leaving the centre of Georgian Bath and crossing the river Avon by the world famous Pulteney Bridge, you are already in the Parish of St. Mary the Virgin, shortly to be joined on your left side by the Parish of St. John the Baptist. Together these form the United Benefice of Bathwick.

Dear brothers and sisters,

I am writing with details of our planned worship at the Bathwick churches on Sunday and throughout this coming week. Attached to this email is our weekly noticesheet and service sheets for the services at St John’s at 9am and St Mary’s church (10.30am) tomorrow morning. Also attached the service sheet for the following Sunday for St John’s and St Mary’s.

Other services tomorrow and next week in the benefice will be offered as follows:

  • Sunday 7 August: (said) Evensong at 6pm at St Mary’s
  • Tuesday: no Mass
  • Wednesday: Mass at 10.30am at St Mary’s
  • Thursday: Mass at 10.30am at St John’s
  • Friday: no Mass
  • Saturday: no Mass at 9.30am at St John’s (also to be live-streamed)
  • next Sunday 14 August: Mass at 10.30am at St Mary’s; (sung) Evensong & Benediction at 6pm at St John’s
