Policy introduction

The PCC has sought to enhance its governance framework with a set of policies that demonstrate both effective management and preparedness for any event that might need a robust response.  Taking into account the Charity Commission and Church of England guidance on safeguarding, good management practice and accountability, the following policies have been agreed:

–         Policy governing use of Church facilities

–         Serious Incident Reporting Policy and Procedures

Safeguarding and Welfare

–         Policy on recruitment of ex-offenders

–         Prevention of bullying and harassment policy

–         Safeguarding policy

–         Social Media policy
